Living In Googong
Anglicare College provides nationally recognised training for individuals and organisations within the community services sector. We seek to encourage participation and practical learning within a friendly and supportive environment.
Our training is practical and work-focused to ensure students are job ready. As an organisation that is a primary service provider in the community services sector, we are able to equip students with workplace experience and insight into this evolving industry.
Many courses offered by Anglicare benefit from government funding. Smart and Skilled (NSW) and Skilled Capital (ACT) provide performance-based funding to subsidise the cost of nationally recognised training.
Testimonials
"I joined the course over a year ago and began my journey with anticipation and excitement. The students that I studied with have become very dear friends and we have had many days during the course sharing our thoughts and ideas.
The study days were welcoming and very productive, I always felt very supported and encouraged during my study. The tutors at the college offered great insight into the counselling field and I believe that my knowledge has grown, and I feel very comfortable in assisting students in my own classroom with any concerns."
– Hannah, Diploma of Counselling
"I am thoroughly enjoying my studies finding it very useful in my work…I am so grateful to Anglicare for (their) support with my studies and that this knowledge will enable me to share with…and help in providing the needs of our little people and their families."
